The farm Muirton is situated 101 Kilometers from Kimberley, South Africa. From numerous geological reports it is evident that the farm contains ancient river bed formations. The prominent area on the farm is believed to be a pot hole where various digging and mining operations have taken place due to the richness of the gravel. The farm measures 138,8183 hectares and the owners posses the land,
mineral and agricultural watering rights. Various geological reports indicate a pot hole and one report in particular, prepared by Prof. J Greeff, suggests a 'jewelery box'.
